Europe whata Passion cinema tourEUROPEAN CINEMA EVENTS

Between November 2017 and May 2018, CesUE, together with several Italian and European partners, produced a new version of European Awareness Day format, focused on the projecting of the film "Europe: what a Passion! The tale of a stormy love affair" directed by Daniela Martinelli and Claudia Cipriani, conceived and produced ad hoc by the authors, Daniela Martinelli and Francesco Pigozzo, in five different versions: Italian, French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The movie of the show will project, in the 11 Italian cities where eCampus (winner of the Jean Monnet Project EUAct) has its headquarters. It will be the main activity of every event composed by a range of free activities of high innovation and consequence of high level practice recognized by the Ministry of Education and the European Commission.

With the other AwarEU project partners, however, CesUE will launch the incoming multilingual European civic education platform (VLEU) for France, Spain, Scotland and Portugal with events realized in cinemas of the respective capital cities.

 

PRODUCED EVENTS

  • MADRID: on 17 October 2018 at the Faculty of Economics of CEU University San Pablo in Madrid, European Awareness Day with the screening of "Europa: ¡qué Pasión!" and an interactive debate with the public, chaired by prof. Maillo-Gonzalez Orus;
  • CASCAIS: on 13 October 2018, at the Casa das Historias of Cascais (Portugal) in collaboration with the Municipality of Cascais and the Nova Universidade de Lisboa, among the events of the European Youth Capital 2018, the screening of "Europa: que Paixão!" took place, followed by a round table with young Portuguese researchers of the Faculdade de Direito of the Nova Universidade de Lisboa;
  • PARIS: on 22 September 2018 at the FIAP Jean Monnet in Paris in collaboration with AEDE-France the screening of "Europe: those Passion!" took place, followed by a debate with the authors and the participants which took part in a national assembly of AEDE-France;
  • NOVEDRATE: on 19 July 2018, in the evening, a European Awareness Day took place at the headquarter of the eCampus University in Novedrate (CO), as the inauguration event of the Summer School of European Studies (in addition to the three days of planned works);
  • ROME: on 10 July 2018 a European Awareness Day took place with the screening of "Europa: che Passione!" for citizenship and university students from several Rome's campus (including students of the University eCampus in Rome);
  • GALLARATE: on June 15, 2018 a European Awareness Day took place with the screening of "Europa: che Passione!" for students and teachers of the Da Vinci-Pascoli High School in Gallarate (Varese);
  • MILAN: on 28 May 2018 a European Awareness Day took place with the screening of "Europa: che Passione!" for several students and teachers of the Tenca High School in Milan;
  • NEAPLES: on 4 May 2018 at the Cinema Metropolitan, via Chiaia 149, the screening of "Europe: what a Passion!" took place, from 10:00 to 13:00, followed by a debate with the authors, for the Neapolitan high schools' students;
  • BARI: on 23 April 2018 at the Cinema Splendor in Bari, via Buccari 24, the screening of "Europe: what a Passion!" took place, from 10:00 to 13:00, followed by a debate with the authors, for the high schools' students of Bari;
  • PADUA: at the Multiplex Cinema Pius X, in via Francesco Bonporti 22, on 21 March 2018 two projections of "Europe: what Passion!" took place followed by a debate with the authors, the first in the morning from 10:00 to 13:00 for the student of high schools of Padua and the second in the afternoon starting from 18:30 for university students and citizens;
  • ROME: 19 March 2018, at the Cinema Farnese, Piazza Campo de'Fiori 56, from 10:00 to 13:00, the screening of "Europe: what a Passion!" followed by debate with the authors for the students of the high schools of Rome;
  • PALERMO: the Cinema Lux, in via Di Blasi Francesco Paolo 25, hosted two events, the first on the evening of 14 March (9:30 pm) and the second, a matinee for high schools' students on 15 March 2018 (from 10:00 to 13:00) with the screening of "Europe: what a Passion!" followed by a debate with the authors;
  • GENOA: on 6 February 2018 from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Auditorium of the Liceo Lanfranconi, in via ai Cantieri 2, the screening of "Europe: what a Passion!" was held, followed by a debate with the authors;
  • ROME: on 30 November 2017, the eCampus University in Rome, in via Matera 18, organized an open-day at its campus in which two projections of "Europe: what a Passion!" took place, followed by a debate with the authors, one from 10:00 to 13:00 for the students of selected high schools of Rome and one in the afternoon free for all citizens;
  • FLORENCE: on 22 November 2017 at the Spazio Alfieri in Florence, in via dell'Ulivo 6, two projections of "Europe: what a Passion!" took place, followed by a debate with the authors, one from 10:00 to 13:00 for the Florence high schools' students and one in the afternoon starting from 16:00 pm free fo all citizens;
  • CAGLIARI: the Cinema Odissea in Cagliari, in viale Trieste 84, hosted the screening of "Europe: what a Passion!" followed by a debate with the authors in an evening event(9.30 pm) on 20 November and in a matinee for schools on 21 November 2017 (from 10:00 to 13:00);
  • TURIN: on 16 November 2017 at the Cinema Due Giardini in Turin, in via Monfalcone 62, two projections of "Europe: what a Passion!" took place, followed by a debate with the authors, one from 10:00 to 13:00 for the high schools' students of Turin and one in the afternoon free for all citizens;
